Go the extra mile - Outrun an Ambulance!
A virtual event that challenges competitors to conquer the mileage an emergency ambulance covers in one shift.
Getting involved is as easy as 1-2-3
1) Choose your ambulance
Visit www.swambulancecharity.org/OOA and choose your ambulance station and associated mileage.
Your fundraising total will be allocated to the Station Area fund of the Station you choose. Or you can choose to outrun the average mileage of all of the featured Ambulance Stations and your total fundraising will be used to support all of our charitable activities.
2) Set up your fundraising page
Set up your fundraising page here and let your supporters know which Ambulance you will be trying to outrun.
3) Outrun that Ambulance!
Clock up the miles over the course of January, February and March! You only have to run 1 mile more than the Ambulance you have chosen to complete the challenge.
Do it your way!
If you don't want to run, you can cycle, scooter, hand-cyle or ride anything that is self-propelled in order to OUtrun an Ambulance.
Take part on your own or beat the mileage as part of a group.
