RTBP Riverside Run 2021
Why we need your help
Please help raise funds for River Thames Boat Project by supporting our two runners this March!
The Hampton Court Half Marathon could not take place in mid February due to the lockdown, but River Thames Boat Project Trustee Bob Darke and running partner Phil Tauwhare are still taking up the challenge and will run their own route at the end of March.
It has been a very challenging year for fundraising and we weren't able to run our usual activities on the river. By sponsoring Bob and Phil you will help raise much needed funds for the charity!
They will start and finish in Bushy Park, heading to Teddington Lock, along the river and past the boats in Kingston, down towards the Scilly Isles and then back across the river at Hampton Court Bridge. The money raised will help to fund special time on the river on our boats Thames Discoverer and Thames Venturer.
We plan to be back on the boats on the river after Easter. Days will be brighter and we know that being on the river will be even more appreciated by the groups that we support after such a difficult year.
Thank you for supporting the River Thames Boat Project and thank you Bob and Phil for running!
