Traditionally, people give up something for Lent.  This year, how about making a small lifestyle change that will make a big difference in the wider world?  This could be anything from a £7 saving from joining in with Meat Free Monday to a £86 saving from cycling to work throughout Lent, our 40 days of change.

Then, donate the money that you save - for instance, by giving up chocolate or store-bought coffee - to The SEED Project to help empower people in Zimbabwe who have no luxuries to give up. Please leave a message indicating what small change you are making - it might help to inspire others!

To find out more about SEED's Small Change Challenge, visit ... And please invite your friends, colleagues and family to join in.  Together, we can make a real difference in Zimbabwe.

Lent 2019 begins on Wednesday 6th March and finishes on Saturday 20th April.

I’ll go veggie for Lent because scientists say avoiding meat and dairy products is the single biggest way to reduce your negative environmental impact on the planet - and it’s people in countries like Zimbabwe that suffer the worst effects of that impact.
