World Health & Safety Day

Why we need your help

What we’re about and our purpose:

The purpose of Safety4Good is to raise the positive profile of the excellent mainly pro-active work Health & safety professionals do passionately, to protect and serve their communities and colleagues in their chosen organisations.
In the past, the media, the public, and some colleagues have either misunderstood the motivations of the Health & safety professional or been downright derogatory about their role and contribution.
We are on a mission to dispel this misunderstanding and ensure the media, public and colleagues know that health & safety people ENABLE not BLOCK procedures and process for the common good.

How

Health & Safety practitioners are a community of “selfless givers”. By combing and coordinating this natural trait and passion, we aim to contribute significantly to worthy causes by GIVING in two distinct ways: -
- Donating time to worthy causes and charities to enable their activities
- Donating up to a day’s net pay (or by the hour) to one of chosen portfolio of good causes
We will then consolidate the total contribution and publicise this movement by the profession with the focus on World Safety & health at Work Day- 28 April 2019.
