Brave the Shave for Bolivia

Why we need your help

Braving the Shave to bring hope to more children living on the streets of Bolivia!

Streets and shavers

Record numbers of children are seeking our help, and we are committed to meet the increased need.
The pandemic disproportionately affects the poor and the homeless, and our staff are yet again going above and beyond, risking their own health and working very long hours to continue to show God’s unconditional love for all.
In order to meet this critical need, we are doing a special campaign this summer.
Our founders Roger and Isha Hulford along with Ramiro and Yovana (leaders in Bolivia), Willma (girls' educator in Bolivia) and Phil (USA Board Member) have agreed, with much fear and trembling, to shave beards and in most cases heads, to raise vital funds for this work. While this challenge is going to be met with much teasing and light-heartedness, the purpose is quite literally the difference between life and death.
Beginning 20 July, each day will see one or more of these Brave Shavers complete their challenge – finishing on Friday 24th July with some having shaved their heads too!
Remember, 100% of your giving goes directly to the work in Bolivia!

Operation Restoration has worked with children living on the streets of Santa Cruz, Bolivia for 30 years.  The COVID-19 crisis is bringing immense challenges and tragedies – but it also vividly demonstrates how important our continued presence is for these children.
