Collect for Christmas 2020

Leicestershire Cares are raising funds for their annual Collect for Christmas campaign which has run for the last 20 years to support those in need across the city and county over the festive period.

2020 has been unprecedented and everybody has been affected in some way. Through this years’ Collect for Christmas, Leicestershire Cares are supporting individuals and families across Leicester City and the county who have been hit hardest by the Covid pandemic.  We will be distributing, through a number of partners, Together We Care packages to vulnerable young adults, families and older people who have been affected  either financially, through isolation and loneliness and to those in need of wellbeing support.

Every penny donated will be used to buy items to make up the packs which will be distributed by our own staff and our community partners to share hope and inspiration to those in need over the festive season. Each pack will contain items such as festive food, tea and coffee, toiletries, socks/gloves, a game, a reusable face mask and will be worth appox. £20.
