Fighting a life limiting illness it tough but the linliness and isiolation that comes with years of missing school through hospital treatment is even tougher. The school prom has become something young people look forward to for years but for many its jyust a dream.

For many sick and disabled children the thought of wearing a beautifu dress or suit and going to a Prom is just a dream. They may need a carer to accompany them, or be in hospital at the time of Prom or just have no friens to go with.

Lewis Hine was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour at 17 months old. He has drug resistant epilepsy and a mechanical pump in his brain that keeps him alive. Leiws started friend Finder afetr years of hospital meant he had no friends. Last year Lewis watched his school Prom on social media from his hospital bed in Great Ormond St. He decided to plan his own Prom and thats exactly what he did.

He put on the Prom of all Proms for 150 disabled and sick children who were unable to go to their own school prom.

The guest said that it was the best night of their life and was like a dream come true. They made new friends and laughed and danced. Every child took a parent or carer as their plus one and there were so many wheelchairs, oxygen tanks, feeding tubes accessorising the prom gowns that the room was breath taking. A view to make you smile for a life time.

Lewis is raising money to ensure the Friiend Finder Proms continue but not just in the south of England but accross the UK. Life is hard for these amazing children it would be great to give me something to look forward to and smile about.
