In 2014 The Tony Loy Trust installed a permanent goal at Tickers Folly Field in Blewbury. In the past four years hundreds of people, young and old have enjoyed shooting at goal and practicing their penalties, who knows maybe the next Harry Kane is among them. Unfortunately the ground in front of the goal is now bare earth and this makes the goal unusable for a large part of the year.
The Tony Loy Trust, in partnership with Blewbury Parish Council (BPC) and Blewbury Village Society (BVS) are fundraising for a fabulous all-weather surface for the goal mouth so that our footballers can use the goal all year round.
We are aiming to raise £4000 as soon as possible so that the surface can be installed in the autumn. The BVS have got us off to a great start by donating £500 - thank you so much.
