Isabel's Accessible Garden
Why we need your help
Isabel's Accessible Garden - Target £3000
Little Isabel is a Micro Premature baby born at 25 weeks and weighed only 1lb 13oz.
She had an extremely difficult 6 month stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, where she received countless tests, blood transfusions, operations and resuscitation.
Sadly due to her Prematurity and huge complications in her early life she has now been diagnosed with Microcephally, Short Bowel Syndrome, Severe Brain Damage, Blindness, Epilepsy, Chronic Lung Disease, Bone Disease, Dystonia and No swallow Reflux.
Isabel has had countless hospital admissions due to her complex needs and has needed to be ventilated as she’s got so poorly due to her lungs and weakened immune system.
Isabel's life expectancy is very low and we try to give her the best fulfilling life we can in the safest way possible. Isabel needs 24/7 waking care and her family have tirelessly tried fund raising for help towards medical/sensory equipment and adaptations to improve Isabel’s quality of life.
We have so far raised £4000 towards Isabel's accessible garden and we need another £3000 to complete.
The money raised will be going towards complete removal of old garden & brick work (80 tonnes). Currently the garden is on a hill and has many different levels.
Supporting walls will all need replacing and drainage around the whole garden as it floods all year round.
Slabs to cover the whole area and a trampoline for her rebound therapy.
Isabel enjoys the breeze and the sun on her face but most of the time she can be too poorly to leave the house so for her to be able to use her own garden comfortably and safely is what she deserves in her short life. Please give generously.
