Mason is 10 years old and suffers from a painful, life threatening condition called Regressive Dystropic EB. This means that Mason’s skin and internal body linings blister at the slightest knock or rub causing painful open wounds.
He lives through a routine of lancing blisters and bandaging but he is an absolute fighter always with a cheeky grin on his face.
Due to Mason’s condition he needs a wheelchair and as he attends a main line school he needs one that he can use independently. (He is currently having to use a buggy and be pushed round)
Mason has recently trialled a powered wheelchair which is perfect and exactly what he needs. His mum said: ‘this is going to give him a new lease of life and so much more independence as it covers all grounds, beach, grass and gravel. He can finally just be a little boy’
