Movie Night for Malawi

Why we need your help

Netflix are currently streaming a film, set in Malawi, called ‘The Boy who Harnessed the Wind’. It tells the true story of 13 year old William Kamkwamba, who builds a wind turbine to save his Malawian village from famine.  It’s received some great reviews, and also shows the struggle that some Malawian young people face in trying to get an education – a subject really close to our hearts.

We would love Joshua supporters to spread the word about Malawi!  If you have Netflix at home (or would be willing to do the 30 day free trial), then hold a Movie Night for Malawi and invite some friends round.  Instead of them paying to go to the cinema, ask for a donation to Joshua to support our work.
