I am writing from Kathmandu. I'm sure you've heard about the Nepal eathquake. On 12th May we had another big one that caused landslides in Rasuwa, increased the death toll and terrified a nation already living on the edge. The children, schools and communities we support are undergoing terrible suffering. One school (Highland Boarding School) has lost 30 students, mostly from the Langtang avalanche. One of the children we lost is Ang Lhakpa in the photo above. The school behind her has been largely destroyed. The village of Bridim from where we run our Dolma Ecotourism programme has lost most of its old Tibetan houses.

These are just examples of the devastation to human lives throughout this region. After this new quake Nepal needs help more ethan ever. Please see our Facebook page here for updates on our relief operations:

As many of you know, we are a voluntary charity where every penny of your donation that reaches us will get to those suffering. I am here on the ground and will personally see to it.

Please donate generously at this time of need. You can directly help rebuild people's lives.

Thank you for your compassion.
