Pershore Rotary Tree of Remembrance 2020

Why we need your help

Remember a loved one

See the latest news and the full list of names being remembered on our Facebook Page

Christmas is a time when we think of our loved ones and support charities. So why not remember a loved one who is no longer with us by sponsoring a name on the

Pershore Rotary Tree of Remembrance

Net receipts this year will be divided between:

Acorns Children's Hospice

Pershore Rotary Grant Scheme (PROGS)

In 2019 the people of Pershore helped us raise over £5,000 through the Pershore Rotary Tree of Lights. In this challenging year with Covid-9 affecting us all, we thought it appropriate to rename the campaign the Pershore Rotary Tree of Remembrance.

Pershore Rotary Grant Scheme provides grants for special projects within local organisations. New applications are encouraged. For example, for recent grants we bought two wheelchairs for Disabled Tennis at the Pershore Tennis Club, sent a VSO volunteer to help in schools in Nepal and a Girl Guide to help at a school in Romania, and re-equipped the Pershore Talking newspaper with new distribution folders.

Help us raise even more in 2020 and do even more good things.

If you would like to remember a loved one, please go to the donation page and put their name(s) in the box labelled "Would you like to leave a message with your donation?". Donations of any size are welcome, and all the money you give will go to this year's chosen charities.

Lists of those beiong remembered will be updated regularly on our Facebook Page and on Pershore Rotary Club Website

Coronavirus safety rules permitting, all are invited to the “switch on” in Broad Street  at 5pm on Saturday 28thNovember. Please stay safe and observe all the guidance.
