Good Food for all Children

Good Food for all Children

Why we need your help

We are partnering with The Food People to raise £50,000 for our work to improve the health of children through access to better food and food education.
We believe that school food is vitally important to a child's education. Our mission is to encourage and enable schools across the country to serve great, creative school food - that doesn't just fill young people up, but feeds their imagination too. We also believe that teaching the next generation how to cook and enjoy real food is crucial for their long-term physical and mental health.
We strive to achieve our mission in the following ways:
Providing training and guidance to schools to transform their food standards and food education. We help them to recruit chefs, who want to cook with purpose and share their passion for food with the next generation.
Showing the world that better is possible when it comes to school food! We have proven that nutritious, tasty, beautiful school food can be achieved on a budget.
Campaigning to reduce food poverty and insecurity, through equal access to good school food.
Why does this matter?
Children growing up in areas with the highest levels of socio-economic deprivation are twice as likely to leave primary school obese, with a life-long health consequences of an unhealthy relationship with food. We focus our work primarily in these areas, because we believe every child deserves the right to access, enjoy and learn about good, nutritious food.
Your support will enable us to reach many more schools across the country so that children have access to good quality, nutritious food. Thank you - as a small charity, your donation will make a real differenc
