Thornbury Rotary COVID-19 Appeal

Why we need your help

URGENT Appeal for Donations to help Local Organisations
This is to support local community, volunteer groups, and small charities, finding it difficult during the COVID-19 pandemic. The current situation puts a significant strain on these organisations. Opportunities to raise funds are severely restricted.
President Graham Cook, "Thornbury Rotary has been supporting the local communitry for 49 years and we are here to help now when local volunteer groups and charities have been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. These small organisations play such an important role within our community and deserve our support. Many have been starved of their traditional sources of funding and are finding their resources stretched by unprecedented demands on their services."
All donations will be paid into the Thornbury Rotary Trust Fund, a registered charity, eligible for Gift Aid. From the Fund, we will hand out grants to organisations that request our support. The number and size of these grants will depend on the generosity of the community and the amount donated. Thornbury Rotary Club is inviting applications for grants from local organisations and will pay out all the money received to assist with the fight against COVID-19. Your donations to this appeal will go to those most in need in your community.
