Accuro's Try In July Challenge
Why we need your help
When was the last time you tried something new?
Have you been planning to try a new recipe, learn a new language, pick up an instrument or sign up for a different workout class? Now may be the perfect time!
We're asking you to try something new every day for 7 days in July and fundraise for Accuro while you do so. Your seven things can be big or small, it can be just for fun or you could really push yourself and get out of your comfort zone. You could try anything from a new hairstyle to learning a new skill to reading a new book or starting a new hobby. You could try something new each day, or pick something to try for the whole week, like learning phrases in a new language. The possibilities are endless!
To get involved, simply decide when in July you'll be taking on the challenge and set up your fundraising page by clicking 'Start Fundraising' on this page.
Participants who complete the challenge will receive a personalised finishers certificate to celebrate and share their achievement.
Set a fundraising target - while we are not setting a minimum fundraising goal, we recommend setting one to give your sponsors something to work towards. How about a fundraising target of £70? That's £10 per new activity you try.
Get Social - when you've created your fundraising page, get sharing! Post your link on social media and share it with your friends, along with a little about what you're doing and why you're doing it. You could share your activity plans or keep them secret until your challenge takes place.
Keep Your Friends Updated - during your challenge, a daily social media post updating your supporters with how each new activity went is a great idea. If you swam in a lake for the first time, really enjoyed a brand new fruit you'd never tried before or even tried on a whole new look for the day - share your news! We'd love to see your photos and updates too, so use hashtag #TryInJuly when you share so we can see how you're getting on.
We encourage you to make this challenge your own, if 7 things in 7 days feels like too much, why not try one new thing each week for four weeks or choose something new for the whole week and stick to it every day for seven days. This is your challenge - have fun with it!
