BUPA London 10000

31 May 2010

Further information

Taking place on the last Bank holiday in May, the BUPA London 10,000 is presented by London Marathon Ltd, the same team that organises the Virgin London Marathon. The 2010 event will be held Monday 31st May. The BUPA London 10,000 starts and finishes in St. James's Park and takes in many of London's famous sights, including Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye, Cleopatra's Needle, Tate Gallery, Millennium Bridge, Bank of England, St. Paul's Cathedral, Horseguards, and Nelson's Column. Buckingham Palace acts as the backdrop to the start and finish. Boasting a field of elite, club and charity runners, the course takes in the proposed route for the 2012 Olympic Marathons, so you could hardly get a more inspirational location than this.
