The event comes with its own distinguished history. First staged in 1989 and known as the Bristol Half Marathon, the city centre run has become a long-held tradition in the national running calendar. Over 10,000 runners every year make this a must do event with an atmosphere second to none. The course will take runners under the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge with spectacular views along the Avon Gorge and Bristol Harbourside before entering the city centre.

Joining instructions

The event for anyone over 17 years old. To sign up, head over to www.greatrun.org/events and pay the £ 40 entrance fee. It's the perfect Autumn half marathon for those looking for a run with a view as you head past the iconic Avon Gorge and Clifton Suspension Bridge.
