Huddersfield Town Foundation Big Sleep Out 2020

West Yorkshire

9.00pm, 06 March 2020

Further information

On Friday 6 March, the Huddersfield Town Foundation will once again be asking supporters to rollout their sleeping bags and take part in the third Big Sleep Out. Building on the success of the past two years, the Town Foundation’s aim is to encourage 300 people to take part in bedding down at the John Smith’s Stadium. Over 200 people braved the rain and the cold in March 2019 to raise over £50,000, which has since been distributed to local charities including The Welcome Centre, Huddersfield and the Batley Foodbank. Previous participants include former Club owners Dean and Janet Hoyle, Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director and Town Foundation Trustee, Sean Jarvis and the Chief Executive of Kirklees Council, Jacqui Gedman. Participants are asked to fundraise at least £100 per person to take part in the event. All funds raised will continue to be distributed to local homeless causes in and around the Kirklees area.

Joining instructions

The event is open to anyone age 13 and over, who can raise a minimum of £100 per person. Anyone age 13-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration is open on Eventbrite by searching The Big Sleep Out 2020
