Queen Eleanor Cycle Ride 2020

Queen Eleanor Cycle Ride 2020

Non-location specific

August 28, 2020

Further information

Every year we follow the Queen Eleanor Crosses from Harby, near Lincoln, to London in order to raise funds to support the vital work of the Connection at St Martin's with homeless and vulnerable people in central London. The need is greater than ever, in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. But in order to conform to social distancing rules, this year we are inviting cyclists to cycle 200 miles (the length of the normal QECR route), following routes of their 0wn choosing in their home areas, returning home each night. The selected routes could offer scenic interest, historical links, or anything else that takes their fancy. We will gather each night from across the country on Zoom.

Who can take part

Any regular cyclist who's 18 years old or more can take part. 16 or 17 year olds will need to be accompanied. You can register for the ride at Registration costs £20.
