Further information

Following in the tyre tracks of the well-established Rapha Manchester to London, Ambitious 220 is a long-distance ride to be ridden remotely, over one weekend anywhere in the world! This exciting event is in aid of Ambitious about Autism and, if you wish, another charity of your choice. Ambitious 220 is self-supported and self-guided, all you need is a bike, a carefully laid out 220-mile route and good deal of ambition. Rapha and Ambitious about Autism will be there to support you from the moment you sign up until you cross that finish line! Rapha have been supporting Autism about Autism since 2014 when Founder and CEO Simon Mottram created the iconic London to Manchester ride. Since then, over 800 riders have clocked up 1,500+ miles on the ride and together have raised over £1m for children and young people with autism. Autism is a lifelong developmental disability that affect one person in 100 in the UK. Autism affects the way a person communicates and how they experience the world around them. Children and young people with autism face enormous challenges due to a lack of understanding of their needs. Early intervention, education and support are critical if children and young people with autism are to lead fulfilling lives and learn, thrive, and achieve. Ambitious about Autism is the national charity for children and young people with autism. We provide services, raise awareness and understanding, and campaign for change. Together, thanks to your amazing fundraising efforts we can help make a difference to the lives of children and young people with autism and their families
