Canterbury Cathedral's L2P Bike Ride

27 July 2011

Further information

The London to Paris Green Route is 250 miles of bike tracks, canal towpaths, old railway lines and small roads that follows a meandering way for 250 miles. At the end of July 2011 30 bike riders of all kinds of experience, on an assortment of bikes will set off from Westminster Abbey to have an adventure together and to raise funds to conserve and develop the Cathedral. This is the latest in a line of fund raising events, including the London to Rome Bike Ride in 2007; the Cross Channel Row in 2008, the Thames row from Lech lade to Gloucester in 2009, and the Lands End to John O’Groats bike ride in 2010. The London to Paris ride will be a bit more gentle than previous escapades. Together, all these events have raised £1/4m, which is amazing. Your support through giving on this page is much appreciated.
