LGBT HERO

OutLife

OutLife is the home of health, advice and life for LGBT+ people.

Launching in late spring 2018, OutLife will replace the current LGBT Fact Site.

OutLife was created because HERO recognised that not enough is being done to tackle the major health inequalities for LGBT+ people living in the UK.

LGBT+ people are more likely to smoke, drink alcohol and take drugs to name a few.

However, OutLife will mainly focus on improving the mental well-being of LGBT+ people. LGBT+ people five times more likely to die by suicide. We are more likely to experience mental illness issues such as depression.  LGBT+ people are also more likely to experience isolation, anxiety and self-esteem issue.

OutLife will work to help LGBT+ not only overcome these issue but to prevent them in the first place.

LGBT+ people deserve health equality and HERO will deliver this through OutLife.
