The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund

Who we are

The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund is a small non-governmental UK registered charity, which aims to fight poverty in Uganda through education.

Mission Statement:

We aim to improve the quality of education in impoverished rural Ugandan schools by investing in buildings and educational resources.  We form partnerships with schools to  ensure that even the poorest children have access to high quality education.

We are currently helping over 32,000 children across 49 nursery, primary and secondary schools to be happier and healthier, with a good education. With your support we can help more schools and lift more children out of the poverty they have been born into.

Our Patrons

The Duke of Cambridge and The Duke of Sussex have been joint Patrons of The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund since January 2009.
