Prostate Cancer Research

Who we are

We are Prostate Cancer Research, the only UK charity solely focussed on funding research into new treatments for and understandings of prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most diagnosed cancer in the UK and 11,500 men die from the disease every year, with this number only increasing. People affected by prostate cancer need breakthrough treatments, and research is the only way to turn this hope into reality.

That’s where we come in! As a charity solely focussed on research, we ensure that we are funding only the best and most relevant projects to achieve outcomes that matter most to those affected by the disease. We listen to patients and their stories, we support scientists at all stages of their research journey and we give them the flexibility to be innovative and share ideas so that we can reach a world free from the impact of prostate cancer sooner.

Our mission is simple, and our vision is clear; to develop and deliver breakthrough medicines and treatments that will ultimately lead to a world where people are free from the impact of prostate cancer. We need your support to do this. Join #TeamPCR and help us to fund the research that will create a better future for anyone impacted by prostate cancer.
