The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust is the only charity to support families, children and individuals affected by retinoblastoma (Rb), a rare eye condition which develops in children under the age of five years. This fast growing cancer can be fatal if left untreated. Early diagnosis of the condition is vital and may save a childs sight or eyes.

Rb affects on average one child a week in the UK and over 500 children are currently receiving treatment at one of two treatment centres.

Our aims are:

  • To provide information and support to individuals and families with Rb
  • To raise awareness of Rb To raise funds for research
  • To influence professional bodies to ensure optimum service for Rb patients
