The Children's Society
Who we are
The Children’s Society is a national charity that runs local services to support children and young people who feel scared, unloved and unable to cope. They feel alone in the world, like they just don’t matter. This is a lonely place for them, where it is easy to feel overwhelmed.
These are the children and young people The Children’s Society works with, step-by-step, for as long as it takes, to make the small changes that make a big difference.
We listen. We support. We act.
There are no simple answers to tackling the problems children today face. Often it is complex and we can’t do it alone. This is why we work with politicians, policy makers and other organisations to come together, to help tackle them.
Only together can we make a difference, not just to individual lives but to the lives of millions of children both now and in the future.
Because no child should feel alone.
