The Fire Fighters Charity
Who we are
Firefighters put their lives on the line to save others – every minute, every hour. Firefighting can be dangerous, stressful and traumatic. When firefighters are injured or suffer emotionally, they can be in pain and unable to work for months.
The Fire Fighters Charity is here to support firefighters and their families in their time of need. Over the years, the Charity has helped hundreds of thousands of individuals by providing world-class treatment and support services.
We have three centres in Devon, Cumbria, and West Sussex, which provide a range of support programmes including rehabilitation, recuperation, psychological and nursing. Our pioneering Beneficiary Support Services offers local and remote assistance to fire service personnel in need nationwide – providing solutions to real life problems.
It costs over £8 million per year to meet the needs of our beneficiaries and with no regular government funding, we are reliant on donations and fundraising, so your support is very much needed.
