Forget Me Not Children's Hospice
Who we are
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice is a West Yorkshire based charity offering support to children and families with life shortening conditions across Kirklees, Calderdale, Wakefield, Bradford and Leeds. The charity was registered in 2005, Russell House a 4 bed hospice facility in Huddersfield opened in 2012. We currently support over 330 children and families from across the region. Children and their families are supported by our Hospice at Home service, supplemented by day care, planned short breaks, 24/7 residential provision, and end-of-life care in our state-of-the-art hospice (Russell House, Huddersfield), families have access to bereavement support for as long as required.
As an organisation that is widely known to be pioneering in its field, we have huge ambitions to grow, so that we can deliver our care and support more children living with life shortening conditions across the region.
Our mission is to say “yes” to children and families. It is not for them to fit to our service, but for us to deliver what they need in the way that works best for them.
Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice is about making precious memories for our children and families that will stay with them forever.
We need to raise £3.8 million each year to support the care that we give and with just 4% of this coming from government funding we need to look to people like you to help us.
With over 700 children and families who could benefit from our care across our area we care only at the start of our journey. To join us you could become a volunteer, visit one of our local stores, become a fundraiser or donate now.
Thank you for your support.
