Vision, Mission and Values

Who we are:

Ruby’s Fund is a charity established to provide sensory and soft play facilities with a social cafe for children and young with disabilities and additional needs, and for their families, friends and carers.

Our Vision:

To continue to offer a sustainable community venue, providing leisure, sensory and play activities for children and young people with disabilities and additional needs within the North West to help each child or young person realise their potential, whilst offering vital support, advice and resources for their parents and/or carers.

Our Mission:

We will continue provide a rich variety of learning experiences and leisure time for those with additional needs to ensure that they will meet their full potential. We will uncover and encourage the gifts and talents present in everybody.

Our Aims:

  1. To meet the needs of local children and adults with additional needs by working along side Government policies and targets.
  2. To provide a much needed safe environment where those with additional needs can play and develop in a space designed around their needs.
  3. To enable the client to be physically active, make positive choices and socialise with others, thus promoting physical and emotional health.
  4. To provide clients with an environment where they will be able to make positive relationships with their peers, and learn not to bully or discriminate.
  5. To furnish clients with the key skills needed to work effectively with each other and care for the environment that they are in.
  6. To provide an environment where children and adults with additional needs will be encouraged to work as part of a team as well as individually.
  7. To encourage leadership and problem solving skills in order to maximise all our client’s chances of future employment.
