We put young people centre stage of their lives.

We are the world’s first and best youth theatre.

We discover epic talent helping young people aged 14 to 25, from across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to reach their potential.

We embrace the fearless energy and individual voices of our members to produce powerful theatre by telling the stories of our time to critical acclaim on West End stages, in stadiums world-wide and at iconic sites both at home and abroad.

We are as ambitious as the young people we serve.

Our world renowned alumni include: Helen Mirren, Daniel Craig, Rosamund Pike, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Catherine Tate, Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Hynes, Derek Jacobi, Matt Smith and many, many more.

Currently, we have more than 6,600 members across the UK from all backgrounds, faiths and communities. We need to raise £1 million each year to provide young people with opportunities that make positive changes to their lives and to work in collaboration with one another. This includes  £150,000 for The NYT Bursary Fund to enable young people facing financial hardship to take part in our work.

Can you help support the work of the National Youth Theatre, in any way big or small?

Please contact Clíodhna McCorley Development Officer on 020 3696 7056 to discuss how you can help us. Or to read more about the NYT Bursary Fund go to:-
