Facilitating access for deaf and hard of hearing people to take their place as respected and confident members of the wider community, able to pursue opportunities, make informed choices and achieve their potential.
[sonus] exists to provide opportunities for Deaf, Deafblind, deafened, and hard of hearing people to have equal access to all sectors of the local communities.
[sonus] provides a range of services to the Deaf Community including adult services, interpreting services to facilitate communication for deaf people, a training department teaching sign language qualifications as well as deaf awareness and a residential home for older deaf people based on the Isle of Wight.

From Sunday 26th April, when the London Marathon would have taken place, join the rest of the UK for the 2.6 Challenge to raise vital money for Charities affected by COVID-19.
This can be any challenge involving the numbers 2.6 or 26 such as walking up and down the stairs 26 times, completing a 2.6 mile walk around your garden or even a fingerspelling challenge - the possibilities are endless but please bear in mind the social distancing measures.
