Who we are

Knowing your boobs could save your life.

CoppaFeel! is a breast cancer awareness charity set up by Kristin Hallenga in 2009. At 22 Kristin was told she was “too young to get breast cancer”. This meant that her cancer was diagnosed late and could only be treated, never cured.

CoppaFeel!‘s mission is to make sure all breast cancers are diagnosed at the earliest stage possible. Making treatments more effective and survival rates higher.  The sooner we educate young people about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, the sooner they’ll be able to spot when something’s not right and be confident in seeking treatment.

How do they do it? By targeting music lovers at festivals and students at Universities. They organise events that are fun and inspiring. They engage fellow young breast cancer survivors to be their voice and pester famous faces to help reach an even wider audience.

They’re like a friendly bop on the head when you least expect it. Awareness is at the core of their operation.
