Who we are

Eswatini, in Southern Africa, has the highest rate of HIV/AIDS infection in the world. Life expectancy is just 51 and 45% of the youth are classed as 'orphans and vulnerable children' (OVCs).

SKRUM was founded in 2007 to give hope to these children.  Our mission is to engage the youth of Eswatini in the game of rugby, at the same time educating participants about HIV/AIDS and gender equality, empowering girls and promoting the benefits of education through rugby's core values: respect, discipline, passion, solidarity and integrity.

SKRUM has reached over 80% of schools across the Kingdom with our vital message of Pass The Ball, Not The Virus.  With increased awareness, figures for HIV/AIDS infection are starting to fall.  Your support really can change young lives in Eswatini.
