ACLT - African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust

Who we are

The ACLT is a leading leukaemia charity dedicated to raising awareness of the severe shortage of donors on UK Stem Cell, Blood and Organ registers. We promote, educate and recruit lifesavers who are seriously under-represented.

Established in 1996 by Beverley De-Gale OBE and Orin Lewis OBE, the parents of former leukaemia sufferer Daniel De-Gale, ACLT provides valuable support to people suffering with blood cancers and those in need of organ transplants who face incredible odds in their search for a life saving donor.

Time is running out for many patients as there is a less than 20% chance of someone of an ethnic minority in need of a stem cell transplant finding their perfect match, compared to over 60% for a white nortern European person.

Be the ONE to make a difference today.

All funds raised will help our lifesaving work.
