Devon Air Ambulance Trust
Who we are
Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the Charity which raises the funds to keep Devon's two Air Ambulances flying.
Due to the fantastic support we receive from the people, businesses and communities of Devon, we extended our service to operate until 2am in early 2019, enabling us to help even more patients. Landing at night has been possible due the set up of a network of community landing sites, funded and maintained by the communities across Devon.
We are proud to be independent of Government and National Lottery funding and the operating costs of the service are met by public fundraising and donations.
Devon is an extremely rural county, with many isolated areas such as the coastline and moorland, and is home to a large agricultural community. This is where the Air Ambulance comes into its own, being able to reach 90% of Devon within 10 minutes, and the remainder within 15.
The service isn't only deployed to trauma and accidents, but also to medical emergencies. Every single penny donated makes a real difference and we are immensely grateful to everyone who supports the Charity, you are helping to save lives.
