- Some speak for the first time in months.
- Those who have not spoken for some time sing all the words to familiar songs in the right order.
- Those with aggressive tendencies become visibly calmed by the music.
This helps to confirm clinical evidence that there are certain areas of the brain associated with music that remain potentially responsive, when all other areas have deteriorated. This inspires us to continue making a positive impact.
There are over 700,000 people diagnosed with dementia in the UK. By 2025 this figure will rise to 1 million!
Please give geneously to help the forgotten and the elderly.
