Joshua Orphan and Community Care
Who we are
Joshua Orphan and Community Care is a Malawi-based charity for orphan care working in nineteen isolated rural communities around Blantyre. We support community-driven sustainable development projects to assist HIV/AIDS orphans, vulnerable children, and their families in Malawi. With its close ties to the communities and support from donors, Joshua has constructed 17 feeding centres, a secondary school, 4 classroom blocks, drilled bore holes and sponsors over 200 youngsters in education. Its staff live and work in Malawi and take great pride in working closely with local people and organisations. Joshua Orphan and Community Care is supported by a board of trustees based in the UK.
During the donation process you will be asked if you will allow "charity marketing". This does not mean Virgin Money, or any other charity, it only means Joshua Orphan and Community Care. If you would like to receive or continue to receive information about our work in Malawi, then please ALLOW charity marketing. We will not be contacting you frequently but would like to send you our newsletter 3-4 times per year.
