Urban Outreach (Bolton) is a registered Christian Charity, established in 1990 to work with disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the town of Bolton.

Our staff and volunteers are motivated to "bind up the broken-hearted and set the captives free". Our purpose is to meet the needs of the whole person, in partnership with local churches, the voluntary and statutory sectors, businesses and individuals.

We provide emergency food parcels for families in hardship. We provide innovative solutions in support, re-housing & resettlement of both male and female offenders. We advocate, provide mediation and support women who want to exit prostitution. We support all children and young people who have been reported missing from home in Bolton, along with their families. We deliver peer mentoring for young people in schools. We find and help sustain accommodation for roofless and homeless people.

We run the following projects:

  • Bolton Lunches
  • Christmas Dinner on Jesus
  • Storehouse (Bolton's Foodbank)
  • Winter Watch (Free winter cafe for vulnerable adults)
  • Street Life (Homelessness)
  • In Off The Street (Night Shelter)
  • Friends of Fun Food
  • Eve's Space (Female Offender Rehabilitation)
  • RUNA (Children Missing from Home project)
  • Family First (Family Support)
  • Support First (People with Complex Lifestyles)

If you want your donation to be used for one specific project, please say which one in the message box on the Make a Donation page. Otherwise we will make sure that your donation is used where the need is greatest.
