Engineers Without Borders UK (EWB-UK) empowers engineers

to remove barriers to human development. We seek to inspire

and support people to respond to global challenges.

Our learning programmes raise awareness of engineering’s role

in tackling poverty by influencing education at all levels.

We recruit skilled volunteers and match them with partner

organisations working on community driven poverty alleviation

initiatives around the world.

EWB-UK works through its members; a network of students and

professionals from across the UK who organise local events and

actively deliver aspects of our programmes. Together, we are

creating a new generation of global engineers.

There is no Planet B, and time is running out.

We are galvanising the engineering community to ensure it serves all people and our planet better than ever before.

We’re part of a global movement of over 60 Engineers Without Borders organisations, and tens of thousands of committed engineers. Together, we put global responsibility at the heart of engineering. A new generation of creative, innovative and socially responsible engineers can transform the world around us, making it fairer, greener and safer.
