Wilton Riding for the Disabled Association
Homepage
Riding for the Disabled, Wilton Group, is a charity providing a unique form of therapy for more than 200 children and adults from South Wiltshire who have disabilities. Riding is a challenging and stimulating experience, which works wonders on muscle strength, balance, co-ordination and general fitness. It is also great fun, gives a tremendous sense of achievement and builds self-esteem. There is no charge for riding and major expenses such as the care of 17 horses and maintenance of the Centre are met by fundraising efforts and donations. The charity is dedicated to helping riders benefit from the confidence, motivation, physical exercise and enjoyment gained from riding and contact with horses.
