The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) is the umbrella under which our three services sit:

  • Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance
  • Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance

Every day of the year, your local air ambulances (Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland) are helping save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots attend an average of 10 rescue missions a day. Within minutes they can be on the ground delivering lifesaving care. The air ambulance gives people the very best chance of survival and recovery. We are supported by Critical Care Cars meaning that we can reach those who need us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

  •  Children’s Air Ambulance

The Children’s Air Ambulance is an inter-hospital transfer service flying babies and children from one hospital to another for specialist care.

We work with 10 NHS paediatric and neonatal retrieval teams across the UK, enabling them to bring their specialist equipment on board to safely transfer their patients from one hospital to another.

If a child is too sick to fly then the Children’s Air Ambulance can fly a specialist team directly to them.

With our ability to fly approximately four times faster than a land ambulance, we can minimise travel times and the risk for little patients.

We do not receive funding from government or the National Lottery for our daily missions. We rely entirely on voluntary donations and support from our communities and business.

Thank you for your support.
