Sea Mills Community Initiatives is a small charity in North West Bristol set up in 2009 by the three churches of Sea Mills to benefit the residents, particularly the young, elderly and lonely.  Our first project is the conversion of the redundant toilet block in Sea Mills Square and its operation as a community cafe - the Cafe on the Square.  Our second project is to convert waste land between highgrove and Sylvan way to allotments, a community garden and a wildlife area.

Situation in January 2015

The Café on the Square has been operating for three years and notable events were the official opening by HRH The Princess Royal in May 2012 and a visit by Justin Wlby the Archbishop of Canterbury in September 2014.  The Café depends heavily on volunteers and the managers, Mike and Heidi, are always pleased to her from those interested in joining the team.
