Herne Hill Velodrome is one of the oldest cycling tracks in Britain and is the last remaining finals venue from the 1948 London Olympics that is still in use. The venue is an exceptional resource for cyclists and the community. Its loss would be tragic.

The Herne Hill Velodrome Trust as set up in 2011 as a response to the highly successful Save the Velodrome campaign. The Trust is responsible for securing the future of the Velodrome for generations to come.

Herne Hill Velodrome Trust is a registered charity and is reliant entirely on volunteer funding and support from individuals, companies and funding bodies as well as the fundraising activities of the Friends of the Velodrome.

As well as managing specific improvement projects such as the Southwark Olympic Legacy Project, the Herne Hill Velodrome Trust works on a day to day basis to increase participation at the track through the Velodrome Management Committee and new Cycling Development Officer. The trust is particularly keen to increase participation amongst women and girls, young people, disadvantaged communities, disabled riders and educational establishments.

Please donate or fundraise the Herne Hill Velodrome Trust today and save this iconic venue for generations to come. All donors who donate over £10 will automatically become a Friend of the Velodrome.
