Funding goes much further in Burundi than it would in other countries...

Raising money to build classrooms:

- £1 buys 100 bricks

- £7 buys a 50kg bag of cement

- £18 buys a heavy duty steel roofing sheet

Providing scholarships for needy children (£90 pays for a years secondary education) including:

- £22 for text books

- £8 for exercise books and materials

- £5 for uniforms

- £2 for hygienic material

- £25 for school fees

- £15 for medical fees

- £10 for clothes

- £3 for a school bag
