The Goboka Rwanda Trust

Who we are

Thank you for visiting this new online donations portal. Below is a little information about the work of the Trust for your interest. These pages will soon include details of events and activities for you to see and join in!

The Goboka Rwanda Trust was established in 2009, to raise much needed funds to help the people of Rwanda.

As a small UK registered Charity, the aim of the Trust is to deliver direct support from fundraising opportunities, and assist grass-roots projects through the development of sustainable enterprise and skills-based projects in Rwanda. So far projects have included support in the areas of healthcare, community enterprise and development, water harvesting and agricultural-based projects.

Working through the strength of partnerships with key organisations and individuals in Rwanda, the Trust is able to combine a deep understanding of local need, with the ability to deliver targeted support where it is needed most. This holistic approach has a high level of impact, and has already made a measurable difference to the people and their communities.

Run entirely by volunteers and a board of trustees, the Trust encourages people with a range of skills to get involved with its work.  Many life-enriching experiences can be gained from the roles and opportunities available.
