Transplant Patients Trust

Who we are

The Transplant Patients’ Trust (TPT), was established in 1991 to provide urgent financial assistance to people waiting for, or who have received life saving transplant treatments.

Grant applications are forwarded to the charity by Hospital Key Contacts who know the patients and have assessed their situation and feel that emergency financial assistance is needed.

"The Transplant Patients Trust is a reliable and unique resource in providing financial support to transplant recipients who are in dire financial need; without them I would be unable to provide financial help to transplant recipients. There are very few charities catering for this patient group, whose quality of life are affected by their chronic or acute disease in many ways, i.e. getting into financial difficulties due to their protracted or sudden illness through no fault of their own.  Through the years I have relied on the Transplant Patient’s Trust to assist a number of our patients through their allocated grants".
