Halow Project

Who we are

The halow project supports young adults aged 16+ with a learning disability, we passionately believe that the young people we support have a right to the same life choices and chances as any other young person.

Our young people want the opportunity to:

  • Build relationships
  • Be part of the community
  • Find meaningful employment
  • Have a home of their own

We believe that the young people we support, have the right to be a part of and respected in their communities and are entitled to a life they choose in ways which best suit them. halow is committed to developing creative opportunities and removing social barriers.

We run a number of different projects to enable this to happen including social activities, our bespoke personalised Buddy service, independent living and 2 learning programes 'Building Futures' and 'A Reason To Get Up'.

To cope with the recent 2020 events and pandemic, we have developped new programme 'halow at home' allowing our young people to access most of our usual projects, from their living room.

We are supporting 170 young people across Surrey and with a number waiting to access our services our need for funding is greater now than ever before, with cuts in government funding and increasing fundraising target we need you!

Please help us supporting our young people today, by raising funds or making a donation.
