Friends Of The Royal Marsden, Chelsea
Who we are
Between 2019 and 2020, the Friends of The Royal Marsden was awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service and also celebrated 85 years of service to The Royal Marsden Hospital, Chelsea. During all those years, including during the war, voluntary support and fundraising has been continuous and has added much to improve the lives of those living with cancer.
And then came COVID.
As a result, all our fundraising events have had to be cancelled or deferred; our volunteering activity has been massively reduced; our café remains closed and our shop is suffering due to the continuing no visitor policy in the hospital.
Our annual Festival of carols is the latest casualty of COVID. The year has ended with no fundraising activity. If you could make just a small donation, it will go a long way to help us continue to pay for equipment, services and amenities for the benefit of patients, their carers and staff at this wonderful hospital.
Together, we can really make a difference.
