Action Bladder Cancer UK (ABC UK) is the UK bladder cancer charity focused on improving the lives of people with bladder cancer.

Bladder cancer is not a rare cancer.  Every year in the UK, approximately 10,500 people are diagnosed with bladder cancer, approximately half of these will die.  Bladder cancer is the 4th most common cancer in men and the 11th most common cancer in women, but despite this there is very limited public awareness, it has a relatively low priority on the public health agenda and little research funding.   There have been no significant improvements in treatments over the past 30 years - it is a forgotten or 'Cinderella' cancer.  Help us change this.  Improvements have been made in treatments and outcomes for other cancers - we want to do the same for bladder cancer.

ABC UK works to improve outcomes for those with bladder cancer, we provide patient support through information and supporting and establishing patient support groups across the UK, we are working on improving early diagnosis through developing learning resources for GPs and other health professionals, we support and initiate research.

Help us make a difference and to give bladder cancer patients a voice and to get the support, new treatments and research investment that they, and their families, deserve.

If you are making a donation - thank you so much for your support.

If you are fundraising for ABC UK, do get in touch with us, we can supply a T shirt or running vest and help you with your fundraising.

Thank you ...
